I was once told that “someone who says yes to everything, will never achieve perfection. It’s more important to be perfect at one thing than to be good at everything” …Well, I object. I can proudly say that I have been raised by my wonderful parents to be curious about everything and anything. Whether it be educational (like that time I went to science camp and studied the effects of H2O in contact with Squid Ink) or artistic (like that time I got a scholarship to go to a pottery camp for a week and learned all the trade from the creation to kiln…)
If there’s any advice I could give to anyone, it would be: Let your curiosity take you places you never imaged you’d go. If you stay in the comfort zone with what you know and don’t go anywhere from there, you’ll never be able to say you once tried something new and learned great things because of it.
So let your guard down, learn something totally out of your element and take it as a lesson of life.
What you waiting for ?
