When I think of summer in the city, I instantly think of patios, parks and concerts. There’s nothing quite like checking out your favourite band without having to trudge through snow, wait outside in the cold and fight for a cab after it’s all said and done.
Last month, I kicked off the summer concert season with the best in the business, Queen Bey. Fresh off the explosive release of Lemonade, Beyoncé had us on our feet from the minute the mammoth jumbo-trons began to glow. Beyoncé proved again – without a doubt – that she is one of the best performers, ever! She danced and sang her heart out and took us along with her on an emotion packed rollercoaster full of incredible outfit changes (hello, red fur!) and amazing renditions all of her hits.
The Roger’s Centre was packed to the rafters and we were lucky to have amazing seats that afforded us the perfect vantage point to watch not only the concert, but also the amazingly incredible Bey Hive who came out in full affect.
We were able to get our hands on our amazing seats with our American Express Card. Yep, Amex Invites has such incredible benefits like Front Of The Line, which means we were able to snag covetable tickets without having to worry about buying off of someone else at insanely high prices. The fact that having an Amex Card gets me unparalleled access makes it the only Card I need.
I love going to concerts because they give me a chance to not only sing my heart out to my favourite songs but they also give me the opportunity to spend some quality time with my friends and make some awesome memories. American Express is always there to help me and my loved ones unlock those memorable moments. Whether it be a Bubble Guppies Live show with my daughter, or singing along about heart break with my bestie and Bey, Amex provides Front Of The Line access to some of the hottest dining, fashion and cultural events across the country. They also treat Cardmembers to special packages and experiences, through Delights which offers something special for everyone.
