After picking up a copy of nutritionist, Kimberly Snyder’s Beauty Detox: Foods, my eyes were opened to a host of foods that will not only help me feel better, but look better too!
Beauty Detox Foods highlights different “beauty foods” that Snyder suggests help with various aspects of beauty and health. She highlights foods that help your skin glow, hair shine and also highlights “inner beauty” foods that will make you generally feel better.
This book is also chalk full of information about the vitamins and minerals in these foods that help you glow, along with tons of recipes. My personal favourite being her famous “Glowing Green Smoothie” which is full of awesome fruits and vegetables- all “beauty foods” that help kick start your day!
Different foods have different vitamins, all of which can help different aspects of our health, most of which are in every day fruits and vegetables that are super easy to find. Including more of these in our diets can drastically affect the appearance of our skin, hair, nails, etc. The foods we eat play a much bigger part in our appearance than we realize and instead of spending tons of money on expensive beauty products adding some healthier foods into our diets may be just what’s needed!
