Travel Tuesday: Dreaming Of…

Door-at-the-Mausoleum-of-Mohammed

If there is one thing that can leave me speechless, it is being in the presence of carefully crafted architecture.

In older countries like Italy and Spain, streets are lined with historic homes whose doors are brightly coloured, accompanied by beautifully detailed balconies and an intricacy you won’t find anywhere else. From Europe to North Africa, Central America and South America, you’ll find picturesque doorways and buildings with stories to tell.

Today’s travel Tuesday is dedicated to beautiful doors, passage ways and buildings.

This last photo brings me back to Old Havana in Cuba, a city I would love to re-visit for its rich history and architecture.
