Getting That Glow with Yves Rocher

When we basically skip over Spring and jump into summer how is a girl to prepare?! I mean, I know I start off with a decent base, but even this biracial baby gets a little pale in the grasp of deep winter and don’t even start with the dryness….

So in the hopes of catching up I lean on a few steps and products to make sure my skin is looking its best:

Exfoliate: Although we all know the key to great skin is nutrition, the second most important is how you’re keeping it cleansed. Exfoliation is the best way of getting rid of dead skin and bringing out that glow.  Yves Rocher’s Daily Exfoliating Cleanser works to cleanse pores, purify skin and is free of soap and parabens which means it won’t dry out your skin.  This exfoliator is delicate enough to use daily but strong enough to give great results.

For your body Konjac sponges are IT! Made from a plant these sponges are delicate yet get the job done. Though these are intended for your face, I use them to exfoliate all my entire body and love how my skin feels after.

Moisturize: Coming out of winter my body needs a lot of extra love and boy does it love that moisture. For my body I love a lotion that isn’t too oily but that really delivers the moisture. Shea butter is my fave and Yves Rocher’s Repair Lotion for Extra Dry Skin really heals my cracked, dry skin and leaves it smooth like buttah!

Self Tanner: In the past I avoided self tanner and just hit the beach or deck for some rays, but since sun damaged just isn’t the look I’m going for enter Self Tanner. I recently wore an off the shoulder dress from Sleeper (that is my absolute obsession, even bought one for H!) and my shoulders were almost matching the mustard colour of my dress – no bueno. I applied a little Beautifying Self-Tanner and it was a game changer.
