On the Pont de l’Archevêché bridge in Paris it has become tradition for lovers from all over the world to come and lock up their love.  Although the locks were cut off on another Paris bridge (Ponts des Arts) last year, it looks like lovers aren’t giving up the chance to proclaim their love, lock it up and then throw away the key into the Seine.

Being here only increased the romance in a city dripping with it, so I hope couples keep coming here to declare their love!

On a sign post on 20th Street by an entrance to the High Line in NYC people doing another form of proclamation by sharing their hopes and dreams.  Under a homemade sign that reads HOPE and a bunch of now dying flowers there are tags for people passing by to write their hopes – and look how many have!

After weeks of anticipation and delay’s and a few fakes a long the way, the OFFICIAL 2011 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival line-up was unveiled this morning in the wee hours of le nuit. With the headliners being Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire and the beautiful dark and twisted Kanye West!

Albeit, the line-up is a little bit more mundane than previous years, but still very worthy of booking a trip to Indio, California to take in all these amazing artists! Other notable mentions? Lauryn Hill, Robyn, Wiz Khalifa, Cee-Lo Green, Erykah Badu, SCISSOR freakin’ SISTERS (apologies, I had a moment with them back in ’07), Nas + Damien Marley, Ratatat, Broken Social Scene, Duran Duran and the list goes on and on!

Music fans rejoice with me! Oh yeah .. When does it all go down?
