I’ll be honest, even though I am a devout lover (& wearer!) of vintage clothing, and truly embrace decadent style from all decades..the cat eye sunnie trend never did it for me .. they we’re all too “housewife out on the town with my girls in Wisconsin smoking a Marlboro in 1953″ rather than “uber chic, slightly indie/hipster but always glam 20-something in 2011, channeling her inner poodle skirt diva” … UNTIL I saw a clip of Kourtney Kardashian and her ubiquitous family on E! (I’m beginning to think they’ll takeover the entire network) and saw those heavenly beauties up above (no pun intended).

So I did what any fashion-crazed young woman would do .. I hit google and searched .. thankfully it didn’t take me long to find that the sunglasses are Tom Ford. Which gave me a bright smile because he is always on the forefront of fashion and even though the cat-eye trend isn’t new .. I still feel like he did it the best. Whatever has the most impact, not necessarily the original is what I believe. Unfortunately, I also had a tiny tear because as talented, wonderful and down-right sexy Tom Ford is .. anything with that name always has an equally high price tag le big fat *sigh*
