On Monday night I had the opportunity to attend Christian Louboutin’s 20th Anniversary Exhibition at London’s Design Museum. The geeky girl in me loves any museum exhibition, so you can only imagine my anticipation for this event.

Unfortunately as a wide-footed gal, I’ve never been able to squeeze my foot into any of carefully crafted Louboutin gems, but I am an absolute fan of what such an art piece can do for the female figure. So it was so great that the exhibition was depicted as such, art pieces for the enhancement of the female form! To further enhance this point of ‘the shoe’ as art, a hologrammed performance by Dita Von Teese and the classic Louboutin diamond encrusted heel was shown with points where Dita and ‘the shoe’ morphed into each other! An amazing sight!

The evening was attended by many of London’s top designers and celebs including Daphne Guinness, Holly Fulton, Jonathan Saunders, Miss Dita Von Teese, Henry Holland and of course the man of honour, Mr. Christian Louboutin.

Saturday night, my bestie & I attended Prom at the ROM aka PROM: CIRCUS, put on by The Young Patron Circle Society and hosted by Sharlene Chiu & Johnny Hockin of MTV!

Inspired by the wonder of the Museum’s world cultures and natural history collections, this was the YPC’s seventh annual fundraiser; this year with an amazing, decadent and zany circus theme.

There were many highlights of the night but my faves would definitely have to be; the illusionist and aerial acrobats for my eyes, cotton candy, chicken and waffles and an oyster bar for my mouth, a Moroccan Oil promotional (& very educatonal!) booth for my hair and a bangin’ DJ for my ears and hips!

Oh and let’s not forget the freakin’ fashion, AMAZING!
