Growing up one of our many dogs was a Great Dane and his name was Hamish – Scottish mother?  Yup!  I swear this is almost exactly how my Filipino friends looked beside him, he was an absolute giant.  They used to try to ride him around the house- might have been one of the reasons he grew to have hip problems…  Oh wild children…

Made Alfajores for our next instalment of We Make Stuff (soooo yumm!)

practiced doing my OWN nails (gasp)  More practice and I might be able to skip the salon more often!

Went to check out my friend Zark’s first photography show.  All of the proceeds were graciously donated to Free The Children and the stuff was AMAZING! Congrats Zark!!

The second annual Stack Chips for Remix was a huge success and a ton of fun.  Plus my loves Mimi & Azuka made it all the way to the final table!  Who knew my friends were poker sharks?!?

My fave sunglass shop (Spectacle) had an Oliver Peoples event where they feted the cofounder himself.  I became transfixed on the lenses and scooped my first pair of reading specs (above) and am still lusting over the purple tortoise shell Paul Smith’s
