Last Sunday, over a scrumptious brunch, Mayila & I talked about everything under the sun (food, fashion, food and more fashion) and, as the hours went by, we finally remembered the purpose of us meeting – her woman of style profile!
Mayila and I have been friends for years; we met when we both worked at Toronto’s premiere luxury boutique Corbo – before it became what it is today, 119 Corbo located on Toronto’s tawny Yorkville Avenue. Her style then, as it is now, has always been uber cool, rock and roll yet feminine and effortless. I want to dress like Mayila when I grow up!
Since our days together on the retail floor, Mayila, has risen through the ranks and has become an assistant buyer for the luxury boutique. Her keen eye for intertwining femininity with edgy, cool and luxury fashion have been instrumental in selecting merchandise in Paris and NYC for the boutique’s discerning clientele.
