Lincoln Center was packed for the Herve Leger show, drawing celebrities, bloggers and editors (I spied Aimee and Wendy! #bloggercrush). I almost got smushed on the way in as demand was so high to get in that some eager attendees attempted to rush the door! Once the show began it was abundantly clear what all of the excitement was about.
Said to be inspired by ‘the beauty of nature and animal patterns’, Lubov Azria’s collection for Herve Leger’s A/W 14 was awe inspiring. The way she manipulated the traditional Herve fabric into fresh and interesting designs highlighted with pixelated metal beading, feathers and furs was refreshing – making me want EVERYTHING (or anything).
Thanks for having me! One of the best shows I’ve seen.
Here’s my not-so-good insta-vid from the show.
