I must admit, the only thing I knew until recently about rosé was two things: pretty champagne and white zinfandel….. With a deep hatred for sweet wine I just never bothered learning anything about Rose because I assumed it was all super sweet like the Zinfandel varieties. Silly girl.
After a trip to the South of France a few years back I quickly noticed it was in almost everyone’s glass and it wasn’t until this year that I took the plunge and started asking my favorite bartenders and wine-os for recommendations. Understanding my tastes they quickly steered me towards fabulously crisp, dry, beautiful rosés that perfectly complimented a slow sipping summer night.
