I’ve been excitedly anticipating the arrival of Saks Fifth Avenue to Canada ever since I first heard whispers of it coming years back. Saks just happens to be one of my all-time favourite department stores – old world charm, incredible selection and the shoes… The SHOES! The fact that their shoe department at the flagship store in NYC is big enough to have its own zip code means you can find me lost in love there basically any time I cross the border.
But now, I don’t have to cross the border anymore. Yes, Saks is finally here and whom else would they team up with, but American Express to put on a show stopping opening?
As you may have realized by now, Amex Canada teams up with the coolest brands to create unique one-of-a-kind experiences. In addition to entertainment, music and dining, Amex Canada also offers unbelievable experiences in the retail space for its premium Cardmembers – the opening of Saks in Canada is no exception. Amex Canada and Saks have partnered with The Coveteur (one of my fave sites ever) to offer a first glimpse of the new Saks Fifth Avenue at CF Sherway Gardens.
That’s right, on February 23rd, Amex Canada premium Cardmembers will be the first to access and experience Saks Fifth Avenue at CF Sherway Gardens in Canada! Cardmembers will preview all the amazing collections available at Saks Fifth Avenue, you know, those amazing designer collections that are often featured on The Coveteur. Plus, they will also have the opportunity to mix, mingle and eat delicious appetizers from Oliver & Bonacini’s new concept restaurant located inside the store.
Amex Canada is not only providing an unmatched retail experience to the newest and hottest department store in Canada, but also unlocking this unbelievable access to meet the folks behind The Coveteur. If you see me there, please come by & say hello. I would love to meet you! If you’re shy, you can always follow the conversation using #AmexStyle.
