I am definitely guilty of spending significantly more time on the skin on my face versus my body. During the Summer, my body skin flaws are not as evident as they have just become these past few weeks. With the temperature beginning to drop, my skin is beginning to seriously shed. I’ve tried quite a few body exfoliators and have narrowed down a few of my favourites, with details on their intensity and what I like about them!

Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub
You. Need. This. Scrub. Like yesterday. I’ve seriously seen this beautifully branded baggie all over Instagram and one day decided to feed into it. Am I ever grateful that I did. I must warn you that this makes the most severe mess in the shower and if you’re OCD like me it’s a painful few minutes of scrubbing but 100% worth it. Your skin literally feels like butter, post shower… it’s miraculous. Would 10/10 recommend and you can use it on your face!
Soap & Glory Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em
This is not as harsh of a scrub, which is great for daily use, and it has a wonderful scent that the people around you will pick up on- trust me. Ingredients include, babassu oil, sea salt and moisturizing jojoba and mandarin oils. It’s gentle and soothing, but enough to leave your skin feeling silky smooth.
Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish
This is more of a splurge scrub but we are here for it. You know what they say… Skin is in (eternally). What I admire about this scrub in particular, is that it is non-drying. It is formulated with real brown sugar crystals and citrus oils to help brighten and tighten the skin with consistent use. Again, this is a one to three times a week go-to, for a deeper exfoliation versus Soap & Glory’s scrub.
Kopari Coconut Melt
I had to include this product, on the topic of moisture. Specifically after shaving my legs, this is my favourite thing to slab on, before slipping on my pj’s. One thing I don’t love is the greasiness of moisturizer in general which is why I’m reluctant to use it. But I use this Kopari melt before bed so I don’t have to worry about the greasiness during my peak hours of being awake lol!
Exfoliating Mitt
Now, if you don’t have an exfoliator on hand, I love using my daily body wash with this mighty mitt. It removes the dead skin. I’d recommend pairing it with a hydrating body wash. My go-to is Olay’s Ultra Moisture Shea Butter Body Wash.
Dry Brush
I’ve provided two dry brush options in the sequence below, the goal is to: stimulate lymph flow, improve circulation, exfoliate skin and help cellulite. We actually did a whole article on the benefits of dry brushing, click to keep reading. Everyone has a different way of doing it but I prefer to dry brush right before I hop in the shower, it can be slightly painful starting out, so apply less pressure.
Kopari Lip Glossy
Glossy is an understatement, this little balm definitely provides shine. I’m typically a plain Jane when it comes to lip products but I really like using a nude lip liner in conjunction with this glossy.
Jack Black Mint Lip Balm
This is a more muted option, no shine but extremely moisturizing. I love peppermint in general, so mint kisses are encouraged with this balm. Another perk is the SPF 25 benefit. This was my holy grail this past Summer because I, among several others, forget about protecting my lippies from the sun.
Hopefully you’re feeling inspired to scrub and moisturize! Share your thoughts with me if you try any of these products and how you like them!
xx
