My beautiful bestie, Eva (some of you might remember her as the Lowe from the Coco & Lowe days), got married and I got to plan and host it! We planned it in under a month and though we shy away from weddings at Coco & Cowe Events, Eva and Chris were an absolute dream to work with and with a colour scheme of black and white their aesthetic was right up our alley.
I was also a bridesmaid! So grateful for my team (especially Pilar) for keeping everything moving. A wedding is all about timing.
We worked with the incredible Todd from Jackie O Florals to help turn my front room from home to chapel and he created the most beautiful alter. Using a combination of pampas grass, eucalyptus and roses, all piled high on clear plexiglass plinths surrounded by glowing candles, the romantic mood was set.
Harlowe loved being a Flower Girl especially because she was able to kick off her shoes as soon as she walked down the aisle.
While guests sipped on cocktails we swiftly moved the reception chairs to the dinning area and set up for dinner. Chef Massimo Bruno created an outstanding menu of authentic Italian dishes co-created by the groom who knows his way around a kitchen. The truffle pasta was seriously to die for.
Instead of place cards we used Sugarfina candy boxes which the bride chose custom to every guests liking and we printed stickers from The Printing House with their names on it. Our friends at Fortis hung string lights from the roof to give a romantic winter wonderland glow.
Eva and Chris have such a beautiful bond and we seriously could not have been more honoured to be apart of their special day. We love a great love story and baring witness to the coming together of two incredible families filled our hearts to the absolute top!
Thank you Mr & Mrs Canduso for trusting us to bring your visions to life!
