The Berry Keto Shake That Got Me Through Week 1!

This cleanse definitely has me starved for fruits. We are allowed berries and because they’re not really in season anymore I decided to add a berry smoothie (with frozen berries) to the mix. This particular smoothie is creamy and delicious and the closest thing I’m going to get to ice cream for the next few weeks.

The creaminess of this particular shake comes from the fat – but don’t worry, this is the good kind of fat, you know, the kind that’s good for your gut and gets you glowing? You know, the kind that is all the rage, think MTC and nut butter NOT all of the fried things kind…. The bonus to this kind of fat is that it helps to fill you up and keep you satiated for longer. I know, thank me later….

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of berries
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp of MCT oil
  • 1 tbsp of nut butter
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp of collagen
  • 1 tsp of maca

How To:

  • place everything in a blender and blend until smooth
  • enjoy!
