Gift Guide: Bestie

Here to make finding the perfect gift for your bestie less stressful! Read on…

Something to experience:

KANDL: I am all about an experience over a thing so when thinking about what I would want to get for my besties, top of the list would definitely be a candle making class at Kandl. Earlier in the year I got a chance to check out the gorgeous space at Kandl and made a candle custom to the scents I like and I couldn’t stop thinking about how awesome it would be to do this class with my friends. They have a candle concierge that takes you through the whole process and at the end you get to take home your custom candle!
PLUS they have cocktails!

Something to enhance their space:

A piece of original art. I love all of the art Tahsin makes. She has a good amount to purchase depending on your budget (print or original) and they have so much meaning that you could find just the right piece for your bestie.

Something beautiful for their home that they probably wouldn’t buy for themselves. This Raawii Strom vase is a fun pop of chic colour.

A framed picture of your bestie that you know they love. Social Print Studio can even print off of Instagram which makes your photo hunting much easier.

Something that glitters:

In Toronto we have some stellar local jewelry talent found in both Jenny Bird and Mejuri. I love these from JB and this from Mejuri.

Something hard to get (or that they wouldn’t buy for themselves:

StockX is a super fun site that carries all of the hard-to-find streetwear tings (I recently copped this) so if someone on your list has everything or likes things that everyone doesn’t have, I highly recommend searching the site and making a bid!

Something beauty:

If your friend is into beauty and you have some change to spare, the ultra lux Le Lift by Chanel is not only Instagram worthy, but also pretty damn good for those dark circles.
