Cowes!
This season, I can not get enough of the “goth boot”, that was what my brother said the second I walked in the house with my first pair of extra chunky black leather boots last year.
However, I can’t seem to stop seeing the OG Prada Lug-Sole Leather Chelsea Boots, which also explains why they’re basically sold out everywhere. I’ve put together five options that resemble this boot in one way or many and the best part, the five options below fall within a much more reasonable price point! A win-win if you ask me, Cowes. Scroll on to explore my top five Prada dupes.
Zara Low Heeled Lug Sole Leather Ankle Boots
These are a chunky staple, yet still sleek enough to wear to your lunch meeting. The thing I LOVE about Zara boots is how easy they are to clean and they are not a total sole sore to break in. Also, they’re so affordable, I am very reckless with the way I wear my shoes, especially during the winter months, in downtown Toronto. If you’re looking for your first chunky black “leather” boot, this is a great place to start.
Princess Polly A La Mode Ribbed Sock Boots
These are super swaggy. I love the contrast between the shiny leather and ribbed built-in fabric. Also, fairly priced considering we won’t be able to wear these through Canadian flurries.
These boots from B2 have been out of stock for months and are officially back! They are such a staple and I actually like how they go a few inches higher than the ankle for extra coverage.
Public Desire Domino Black PU Zip Up Chunky Sole Ankle Boots
These chunky zip up’s are a whole damn vibe. Definitely nowhere near as practical as option 1 on this list, but a fun way to take your OOTD to the next level.
Dr. Martens Black Jadon Retro Quad Boots
Finally, my go-to lace-up “combat” boot will forever be these Docs. This style is durable AF with the platform and they basically give any fit the perfect amount of edge.
