TGIF, Cowes!
This month, I’m sharing a few of my “can’t live without” items. Everything from home goods to beauty – I got you!
People often ask what I love and what I use the most, so I’ll be sharing links to a number of products across different categories every Friday this month. Keep an eye out #OnTheBlog and via IG Stories.
Premium Classic Series Zester Cheese Grater
We love an efficient grater, for lemon + lime zest and to top a big bowl of pasta with the perfect amount of parm. I’ve tried my fair share of graters and this one is a real winner.
Benriner Japanese Mandoline Slicer
On the same wave of making our lives easier, I love this mandoline for slicing carrots and making Jimmy’s favourite scalloped potatoes. They turn out perfect every time thanks to this slicer for making the prep almost perfect, always.
Sharp Knives
Cowes, you need a quality sharp knife in your kitchen. I promise it’s life-changing! There is such a range of prices associated with finding the perfect knife. Click here for a more budget-friendly option and if you’re looking to splurge, click here.
Citrus Juicer (Handheld + Measuring Cup)
Best of both worlds! I am a big lemon/lime and just overall zesty gyal so I use these tools on the daily. Which style of juicer do you prefer in your daily routine? Let me know by tagging me here.
A Good Non-Stick Pan
There will be no going back if you have yet to make the investment. This is honestly the most multi-purpose pan I have ever… fit for scrambled eggs, making my Spicy Rigatoni and everything in between. The built-in spoon rest also comes through for me, every damn time.
French Oven
This is the right hand to my non-stick. The ultimate pot for stews, soups, roasts, and let me tell you, I could go on! It’s totally worth the investment because you’ll literally have it for LIFE.
Lodge Cast Iron
You think you can get away without having a cast iron until you actually purchase one and start using it practically every other day, especially during Ontario’s eternal lockdown. Food TikTok has changed my relationship with my cast iron, let’s be real!
