SickKids has a super special place in my heart. It has helped three families very close to me get through some very scary times with their little ones and every time I’ve been there I can’t help but be in awe of what they do 💛 In 2002, @sickkidsvs started awarding patients with “bravery beads” for undergoing a variety of procedures such as a scan, blood test, surgery or overnight stay. Since then, more than one million patients have earned more than one million beads. To celebrate the incredible courage of these kids, and mark almost one million donors to the Sick Kids VS Limits Campaign, artist Nico Williams will be creating an art installation - that will live at the new hospital - to serve as a reminder of the immeasurable strength and bravery that takes place under the SickKids roof 👊🏽 To learn more about how you can contribute bravery beads to this historic piece of art, visit donateyourbravery.ca #OneMillionStrong #SickKidsVS
