What a strange year! But with many great challenge

I got some incredibly thoughtful gifts for my birt

I got some incredibly thoughtful gifts for my birthday this year but this one got me. My mother and father gave me this framed little dress with a card that read something along the lines of: you first wore this 40 years ago in Jamaica and it has since travelled with us from the hill top of Kempshot, to Halifax, Nova Scotia to Don Mills, and two other homes is Newmarket back downtown to two homes in Toronto and now it’s back here with you. The thought that 1. I was ever that little or 2. That they kept this so safe for so long even brings me to tears right now. The big fancy things are nice but they get old fast. I hope to be half as thoughtful and amazing to Harlowe as my parents have been to me. Hold onto the little moments. Make a million memories. PS any new parents out there, put aside a little something from your little one. They will absolutely adore it. I did! 📷by @djpplus
