I could alter this picture to make myself look like the version of myself that the self hating demons in my head wish I could be. A more palatable version of myself, Instagram worthy and distorted. I could keep trying to hide myself because I’m ashamed of the weight I’ve gained…..
Or I could recognize that this body got me through miscarriages, failed IVF, and the most tumultuous year one could imagine, managing to stay in business and hold onto our staff.
I am a work in progress and the work I’m focusing on right now is appreciating all that I am rather than picking apart the package that holds it all together.
I post this for anyone going into another weekend, hiding in their room, or under layers of clothing because they aren’t what they used to be, aren’t where they want to be, aren’t living up to the outrageous standards that social media holds us up to in our new normal. Just a love affair with my new @forwardwithdesign Tumbler 💦 There's a reason I'm sipping with ease. This insulated #FWD Tumbler keeps my water annnd iced coffee icy all day long! In this heat, we all need accessories that move with us and @forwardwithdesign has created a line of essentials that do just that. Question: what are you doing with your kids this summer?!? Summer really snuck up on us and now that we’re moving back into full on outside of home worklife having H by my side for every single moment can’t really be a thing. Did you sign up your littles for camp? Are you just scheduling them to max? Is it play dates all day every day? Send help to this Mama & Papa who are late to the reality party 🤦🏽‍♀️ and although camp counsellor was my first official job, we’re not going back there…. Making Goldie’s house almost took us out 🤣 PS although most camps are probably already full, she despises them anyway 🥺🤦🏽‍♀️
